Crosscut Timbers is  a family run business, has been in the logging industry for  44 years, and has also been operating a firewood yard, and a mahoe portable sawmill since 2001.

The mahoe mill is used to process furniture grade timber for our demanding cliental in this industry, also other swan timber is produced here,Our timber is utility Grade timber  WE don't do building grade timber 

The firewood is all split on site and delivered locally in the Manawatu / Rangitikei, Area


We have a team of 5 local employees  covering all the aspects of our operations,
Bagging of Solid Fuels ,Value Range in the lower north island 
Our own brand  Maewa that is sold throughout the north and south island.
Crosscut timber is a  supplier of swan macrocarpa sleepers / landscape grade timber throughout  New Zealand. 
With our experienced staff operating the sawmill it enables Crosscut to supply our customers with larger volumes of swan timber in standard sizing / lengths or if requested packets of timber to meet any of our customer’s special requirements.

Euan & Elizabeth  Purchased the  old Feilding Timber sawmill which is situated on the outskirts of Fielding late  2015.
​At the end of 2015 we lost our mill to a devastating fire , 2016 we  have started the process of rebuilding  with a mill we purchased from Mamaku,
2018 Euan has started to re build the mill and hope to have this up and running in 2021,

we have a supply for our operations  of Macrocarpa and Pine logs,
In 2022 Crosscut timbers sold land and Bulidings to another company and we leased part of the land and buildings back to continue our operations,2023 saw new opertunies and it time to take our operations to new premisses,
